Apostle Rufus Hayes, Sr.

Apostle Rufus Hayes, Sr.

May 18, 1925 - August 9, 2022

Apostle Rufus Hayes was born to the late Ester and Leila Beale in Tyler, Texas on May 18, 1925. Educated in the local school system, he began a life of service at age 16 when he entered the United States Armed Forces.

A member of the Army, Rufus Hayes served his country during World War II, including the beaches of Normandy, France. He was honorably discharged and continued working for the government in the United States Foreign Science Division in Washington, DC.

While in Washington, DC, Brother Rufus Hayes was baptized and saved under the leadership of Apostle Smallwood E. Williams at the historic Bible Way Temple at 1100 New Jersey Avenue. He served in many capacities at his local church, including as a special ministry assistant to his pastor and leader. Brother Hayes did whatever his hands found to do at his local church and loved discovering the hidden truths of the Bible and sharing the revelation of the word of God as a prolific Sunday School Teacher.

Elder Rufus Hayes accepted his call to ministry and established the founded the Louisa Bible Way Church (now known as First Bible Way Church), which he pastored until the Lord sent him to Charlottesville, Virginia. In June 1965, Pastor Hayes founded the Charlottesville Church of Christ, leading that congregation until his retirement in 2014. The Charlottesville Church of Christ began with six members and few resources. However, the Lord continued to build the work and expand the ministry. Pastor Hayes had a vision to build God a house in the city and found a location situated upon a hill. Despite the challenges of building on this rock, the vision became a reality. The local church was housed at 501 Commerce Street until 1990, when the congregation victoriously marched from Commerce Street to the present location at 990 Fifth Street SW. Pastor Hayes was elated to see what the Lord had done and that his pastor, Apostle Smallwood E. Williams, was able to officially dedicate the new edifice.

Pastor Hayes was a kingdom worker and builder since receiving salvation. He served the Bible Way Church on the local, district, diocese, and national levels. In addition to building churches in Louisa and Charlottesville, he also planted churches in Waynesboro and Staunton, Virginia. He loved the foreign field, ministering in Africa, Jamaica, Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, and taking delegations over to Jerusalem. He often hosted delegates from Africa, Jamaica and Trinidad in his home.

A lover of God's word and Bible Scholar, Apostle Hayes received both master's and doctoral degrees in Theological Studies from the Virginia Seminary in Lynchburg, Virginia and was a fixture at the annual Ministerial Conferences at Hampton University (formerly Hampton Institute) in Hampton, Virginia. He trained ministers, preachers, pastors, and Sunday School teachers to get them certified and equipped to handle and deliver the gospel and rightly divide the word of truth.

Apostle Rufus Hayes was a pastor par excellence and man of integrity and conviction. He loved the members of the Charlottesville Church of Christ and was revered throughout the community, without regard for religious affiliation. On May 18, 2008, the mayor proclaimed that date as "Bishop Rufus Hayes Day" on the occasion of his 83rd birthday. The city further acknowledged his contributions to the city with an honorary street named "Bishop Rufus Hayes Way" in 2017. Although he could sometimes be stern, his passion and desire was to see the saints make it to heaven. He offered wise counsel, was generous beyond measure, and preached the unadulterated word of God, especially during his "Gospel Sermonette" Radio Broadcast on WINA radio station for 50 years.

Apostle Hayes was also a family man who enjoyed being with his family attending holiday meals, graduations, and family functions. He loved to laugh and he never allowed a family gathering to end without prayer. He especially appreciated the time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was so proud of each of them.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by companions Lula Mae Hayes and Mother Betty Hayes; sons Elder Rufus Hayes, Jr., Elder Charles Hayes, Sr., Joseph King, Harry B. King, Sr., and Deacon Russell King, Sr.; daughters, Cinderella Hayes and Shirley Cook; and sisters Ethel, Essie, Cornelia and Revordia.

He leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his legacy his wife, Elder Minnie Hayes, his children, Diane Hayes; Paul Hayes (Song); Eleanor Alston; Rufus Williamson (Grace); Kent Williamson; and Wendell Williamson (Shirley); one son-in-law, John Cook; daughters-in-law, Rosemary Hayes; Michelle King; Glenda King; grandchildren, Angela Hayes, Charles Hayes, Jr., Kimberly Hayes; Michael Hayes, Sharma Richardson, Christina Robinson, Joanna Cook; Kesha Hayes, Raymond Richmond, Joy Richmond; Jennifer Hayes; Betty Wilson, Sheila Berry, Harry King, Althea King, Mattie Ann King, Russell King, Jr., Leslie King, Krista King, special niece Gladys Blanford; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, the Charlottesville Church of Christ family, many spiritual sons and daughters, and countless lives and souls he impacted with his ministry and message.

Charles Franklin Perkins (Chuck)

Charles Franklin Perkins (Chuck)

Charles Franklin Perkins (Chuck) was born March 26, 1953, at the Louisa Co. Medical Center to Charles and Audrey Perkins of Louisa, VA. Chuck peacefully transitioned on April 21, 2022.
At an early age, Chuck was baptized and became a member of the First Baptist Church where he professed his faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Chuck graduated from Louisa County High School in 1971 and went on to attend Norfolk State University. After relocating to Richmond, VA, Chuck joined and became an active member of St. Paul's Baptist Church. In Richmond, Chuck got his start in sales and found his niche in the car business. He had such a passion for his career in the industry that he progressed to roles in leadership, such as Sales, Finance and General Manager.
In 1999, Chuck began dating his forever love, Christy McLaughlin Perkins, and they married September 2, 2000. They were a perfect combination of style and grace, and their love was of gentle kindness and laughter. Their union produced two wonderful children to the world - Carlie Perkins and Carter Perkins, both of Charlottesville, VA. Chuck absolutely adored his family and never missed an opportunity to tell anyone willing to listen, just how much.
Chuck always called Louisa "home" and decided to settle there with his family on 'Charles Ln' in the very home where his father was raised and Chuck spent many childhood years. The Perkins family were such beloved residents of Louisa that 'Charles Ln' remains a permanent roadway and reminder of the family's contributions to the town. Chuck, Christy and their children later took up residence in Charlottesville, VA.
Any opportunity when Chuck had a day off and the weather was cooperative, he could be found on a golf course. Besides watching UVA or UNC basketball (he loved each team equally) or watching the Dallas Cowboys, golfing with his friends was his favorite activity. He outfitted each of his children with clubs before they were even steady on their feet. Once he retired from the car business, he took a part-time job at Keswick Country Club, which required him to be there at 6 AM, just for the course discount. More recently, Chuck became an avid pickleball player and was playing twice a week before the pandemic.
Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Charles D. Perkins (1999), his brother, Gary D. Perkins (1987) and his sister, Beulah P. Nelson (1997).
He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife of 21 years, Christy and their two children, Carlie and Carter of Charlottesville, VA; his mother, Audrey Perkins of Louisa, VA; two sisters Gloria Scott (Charles) of Chesapeake, VA, and Lorie Smith (Necota), of Greensboro, NC; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, many close family members, and friends. Chuck was the kind of friend everyone wished they had. His boisterous laughter and the joy he brought to all who knew him will live on.
A remembrance service, with light refreshments, to honor and celebrate Chuck will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Mountaintop Montessori (440 Pinnacle Pl., Charlottesville, VA) at 4 PM. In honor of Chuck's bright and colorful personality, those in attendance are encouraged to dress in bright, colorful attire.

Davonn Jamar Wilson

Davonn Jamar Wilson, passed away on October 23, 2022, in Charlottesville Virginia, at the age of 31. Flock, as he was called by most, was a loving father of four amazing girls, a supportive son, protective brother, dedicated uncle and loyal friend, who touched the lives of many. Davonn was born on February 11, 1991, in Newark New Jersey, to Chanel Wilson and Freddie Paige.

He joined the family, led by his older sister, Chavonne, who was not initially excited about her new baby brother. These feelings quickly changed as Chavonne and Davonn developed a special bond as the eldest boy and girl in the household. The family continued to grow, and welcomed 3 more boys, Isaiah, Anthony and David. As Davonn and his siblings grew up, they enjoyed exploring the trails in their neighborhood and found ways to entertain themselves, catching crawfish and fighting them. From the start, Davonn was the type of older brother that his siblings could rely on. He formed a special bond with each of his siblings, taking on any pain that they experienced, while loving and assuring each of them that he ALWAYS would have their back.

Moving from New Jersey to Virginia, and leaving all of the family and friends that Davonn knew and loved was difficult. Davonn had fond memories of life in New Jersey that he would share with his younger brothers. Davonn led an active life, from his youth, through adulthood. He participated in the Abundant Life Ministries youth program, played baseball and basketball, supporting his team with remaining undefeated two seasons in a row. On the court, he was called the "Big Man in the Paint," playing center, a position that highlighted Davonn's toughness and positioned him as the team's last line of defense, a role he excelled at on and off the court. As an adult, Davonn continued to give to his community, volunteering with Teens Give and delivering meals to students and community members. The hardships and bullying that Davonn experiences early in life built his resilience and allowed Davonn to make a name for himself, earning respect from many.
Davonn dedicated his life to protecting. loving and taking care of his family.

He was a loving father of four girls, Reine, Niyana, Niani and Naleah, whom he adored. He enjoyed spending time with them, returning to Charlottesville to be closer to them. His daughters were always his priority, motivating him to work hard to provide for them and make memories with them, including frequent trips to the bowling alley for family fun. Davonn was the type of son, brother and friend that we all need, since being in his presence usually guaranteed a good time. Davonn had a big heart and was a good person. He believed in arguing his point , but also ended these debates, by "hugging it out". He was a "big brother" to so many around him, not only his siblings, but cousins, and friends, but also to anyone younger or older that he encountered in need.

Davonn "Flock" Wilson is survived by many, who celebrate his life, including his daughters, Reine Wilson (Dasha Cooper), Niyana Wilson, Niani Wilson and Naleah Wilson (Latrice Baker); his parents, Chanel Wilson and Freddie Page; grandmother, Shirley Ann Wilson, siblings, Chavonne Wilson, Isaiah Wilson, Anthony Paige and David Paige; in addition to his significant other, Zhane Johnson, godmother Veronica Jones and godfather Lincoln Thom. Davonn "Flock" Wilson also leaves to cherish his memories, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the Christ Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, church family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Zion Union Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

George Edward Linney, Jr., MD

George Edward Linney, Jr., MD

1943 - 2022

Charlottesville, VA - George Edward Linney, Jr, 79, died of complications related to Parkinson's Disease on December 22, 2022, at his new home in Charlottesville, Virginia. George was born in Washington, Georgia, the son of Sarah Johnson Linney and George Edward Linney.

He graduated from Furman University in 1965 and then returned to his parents' home in Augusta to attend the Medical College of Georgia. He did his pediatric residency at the University of Virginia, where he met his beloved wife, Barbara, on a blind date, and they married in the UVA chapel six months later.

He practiced pediatrics at the Nalle Clinic in Charlotte, North Carolina, for 11 years and then moved to Florida to become the Medical Director for one of the first HMOs in Orlando. He served as President of the Board of the American College of Physician Executives (now the American Association for Physician Leadership) and was instrumental in designing the Certified Physician Executive credential with Barbara, the College's Vice President of Career Development at the time. The last years of his career, he performed executive searches, interim leadership, and executive advisory services for Tyler & Company. George believed in quality healthcare for all people and helping physicians learn the leadership skills they weren't taught in medical school.

He loved golf and played every chance he got. He became a scorekeeper for the Masters Tournament in Augusta, Georgia, while he was in medical school and relished that privilege for 50 years. He could take one guest, which was Barbara, for 11 years until they moved to Florida, and then he alternated taking his children, who now take their family and friends to experience "a tradition unlike any other."
George ran nine marathons in the 80s and 90s, and his best races were when Barbara met him every five miles for half a cup of beer and encouragement. He enjoyed traveling throughout his career and loved teaching physician leaders with Barbara. At the end of every work trip or vacation, George would think about his next destination and would often ask people, "Where are you going next?"

When the children finished at Winter Park High School in Florida, Barbara and George moved back to Charlotte. George was Chair of the Board of Deacons at Myers Park Baptist Church and added his beautiful baritone voice to the congregational singing every Sunday he was in town for the next 27 years. He once made a list of all the hymns he could sing (all verses) without music and counted more than 300; Blessed Assurance was his favorite.

George was devoted to all things Furman. He was honored to serve as President of the Alumni Association and received the Alumni Service Award in 2004.

George adored the Atlanta Braves, the Carolina Panthers, any golf tournament on television, and all University of Virginia sports teams. He was especially happy that the UVA Men's Basketball Team won their first national championship in 2019 and that the Atlanta Braves finally won the World Series again in 2021. He knew details about every player's background and thought of them as friends and teammates.

George and Barbara moved back to Charlottesville in May 2022 to the city they loved and to be near their daughter, Allison. He told people he was glad they returned to the place where once upon a time their story started. He had four cheerful months in their new home before his health declined.

George loved all holidays and especially Easter, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and everyone's birthday. He thoroughly enjoyed his last Thanksgiving dinner with his wife, children, and grandchildren. On Thursday, November 24th George could both sing and call out the names of the Motown songs his son played for him and retell the story of when he was called up on the stage to sing with the backup singers for Aretha Franklin in Atlanta's Underground in the late 60s.

George is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara Johnson Linney, his daughter Allison Sims Linney, his son George Edward Linney, III (Kristen Nevins) and his grandchildren, George Edward Linney, IV, Kathryn Nevins Linney, and William Nevins Linney, and his sister, Lloyd Dubose Linney and her family.

The family expresses its deep gratitude to those who provided love and support as George neared the end of his life, especially his PCP nurse practitioner, Sue Kiley, Commonwise Home Care, and Hospice of the Piedmont.

A service will be led by George's son, the Reverend George Edward Linney, III at St. George's Episcopal Church in Fredericksburg, Virginia, on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at 1:30 pm, and interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery next to George's in-laws, William Scott and Ruby Lee Johnson. The family knows he would be pleased with that decision because, just like Ruth in the Bible, he loved his in-laws very much.

George believed in tithing to his church, donating to his alma maters, and secretly giving money to people who needed help. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Furman University, Myers Park Baptist Church, the UVA Strong Fund, or someone you know who could use a helping hand.

Arrangements are in the care of J. F. Bell Funeral Home, Inc. condolences may be sent to the family via the guestbook at www.jfbellfuneralservices.com

Jay Scott Moss

Jay Scott Moss

Jay Scott Moss was born in Washington, DC on June 20, 1969. A very special young man. Jay's uniqueness was apparent from the start. His adoptive family welcomed this beautiful, chubby-cheeked baby with a captivating smile and he continued to seduce them with his loving persona.
Jay was very athletic as a child. His favorite activity was skateboarding, at which he excelled. He fearlessly attacked the highest concrete hills, his favorite being around the University of Virginia campus, where he spent much of his time when he visited his grandparents in Charlottesville, Virginia. He also played sports with the Washington, DC Police Boys and Girls Club. Jay showed an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, often requesting books (usually historical non-fiction) for gifts, rather than toys.
Early on, Jay revealed another of his many talents. He began to express himself and to deal with life's stressors through his poetry. He would present family with his original poetry on their special occasions and holidays. Jay performed his works in his signature rhythmic and passionate cadence. He memorized many of his poems, which he gladly recited upon request. His catalogue of poems was extraordinary. Jay was lauded by various poetry circles in DC, often performing at "poetry slams" and other events in the metropolitan DC area.
As a pre-teen, Jay was confirmed as an Episcopalian at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC. He visited the Cathedral whenever he could, awed and comforted by its beauty, peacefulness, and welcoming spirit. He also attended St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Washington, DC. Jay's spirituality grew through the years. He enjoyed discussing the Bible and listing to his favorite evangelists. He committed his favorite Biblical references to memory and discussed them with family and friends. His favorite was "The Beatitudes."
Jay was "all about family." He took pride in having relationships with both his adoptive and biological families. His greatest joy was family gatherings at the home of his grandparents. Hazel and Reginald Moss, Sr., in Charlottesville. He especially loved grandma's holiday meals. His favorite dishes were macaroni and cheese, and sweet potato pies. Throughout his adult life, he reflected on the positive impact those holiday gatherings had on him.
Jay's work history always included employment which enabled him to have interactions with the public. He found people fascinating and loved sharing stories of those he met during his workday. He especially enjoyed his lengthy work history at the Whole Foods market in upper northwest Washington where he interacted with a wide variety of customers. He was a very hard worker, often working as many as three jobs simultaneously.
On Sunday, October 2, 2022, following a brief illness, Jay entered into eternal rest. He was 53 years young. A true renaissance man, Jay was a poet and philosopher. He was a very loving person, who believed in God, and was always kind and exceptionally generous. Jay will be sorely missed.
Preceding him in death were his mothers, Celestine Nottingham and Jane Birchette Moss. He will be forever remembered and loved by his father Reginald Moss (Rita), brother Craig Nottingham (Wanda), step-sister June Hudson, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, along with countless other family members and friends.

John Jacklen Gaines

John Jacklen Gaines

John Jacklen Gaines, 85, of Charlottesville, departed this life on Monday August 22, 2022, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
Born on March 7, 1937, he was the only child of John and Julia Gaines, a chef and domestic worker, respectively. He was born in the basement of the University of Virginia Hospital at a time when birthing locations for the city's Black residents were limited.
After graduating in 1953 from the segregated city-county operated Burley High School, John attended Hampton Institute, now Hampton University, where he graduated in 1958 with a B.S. in History. His first job upon returning to Charlottesville was as a teacher at Jefferson elementary, which he had attended as a child. In 1965, he received a M.Ed. in Public School Administration from the University of Virginia.
A lifelong Charlottesville resident himself, John's contributions to education in Charlottesville were substantial, particularly for the city's Black residents. He served as a principal in the Charlottesville Public School system from 1968 to 1976, including a period as principal of Jefferson elementary school beginning in 1971 when it housed all of Charlottesville's sixth graders. For 15 years, he directed the Charlottesville Public School's Chapter 1 program, designated under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 as a mechanism to improve the education of disadvantaged children. And prior to his retirement in 1998, he spent seven years coordinating the system's Adult Education program.
John cared deeply about his community and worked to create opportunity and equity through service. This included periods where he served as president of the Charlottesville and Albemarle branches of the NAACP, president of the WCEH Neighborhood Association, and over a decade's board service on the Piedmont Housing Alliance.
But as the City Council and his children can tell you, he didn't have to be on your board to tell you what he thought.
He loved seeing examples of Black excellence and achievement in Charlottesville and beyond and would speak about seeing Willie Mays, Arthur Ashe, and James Brown perform during trips they made to the area. In 2006, he helped successfully petition the city to rename the former 9th/10th Street Connector "Roosevelt Brown Boulevard" in honor of the Charlottesville native and NFL Hall of Famer.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by Matilda Carter, his companion of many years. He leaves to cherish his memory three children: Jackie Martin (Eric), John Gaines, and Carl Gaines; three grandchildren (Jonathan [Christa], Kailyn, and Kristyn); two great grandchildren (Janiyah and Jonathan); Matilda's children Pam, Denny, Danny; and her grandson Daryll; in addition to many other family members and friends.

This was one of the best experiences of her life and Linda would always beam with love and joy when talking about her time there. She remarked that, "to be in a country with so many different people from all over the United States; that trip was my first time being in a new state alone without my parents and was my first time flying." Thus sparked a love and respect for other cultures, both of which she was well known for. Everyone that knew Linda was aware of her open, positive, and loving nature towards others no matter who you were or what you believed.
Linda's fondness for mutual respect and tolerance are best expressed in her own words, "I love people and learning about their culture, religion, and different foods. I know a variety of people from many walks of life and embrace them all with love and understanding. What do I want for my children? I want them to find love and live their best lives in truth and honesty. I have many friends and relatives that I have loved over the years, some I have known for fifty years or more. I thank them for loving me in spite of my flaws."
Upon graduating from high school, Linda took her studies to Averett College and graduated in 1978 with a Bachelor's in History. Two years after her graduation, she served as a banker. Being dissatisfied as a banker, she decided to make a change and entered law enforcement as a correctional officer for three and a half years. She subsequently proudly served as a Capitol Police Officer in Richmond, Virginia; where she served for twelve years before retiring. During her time there she was a fierce volleyball and softball player.
During her retirement, Linda dove into her role as a mother and helped to raise her three sons. She was enormously proud of them and adored this time of her life. During this time she also worked a few jobs including J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College. In that capacity, she would meet young individuals who were experiencing difficulties in life that needed guidance and support, which she would provide. To those youths, she affectionately was like a second mother to them and was able to help more than one soul remain on the righteous path.
Upon her death, Linda wanted to convey that her finals words are to either, "erase the hate or be the change you want to see in others."
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Charlottesville Church of Christ, 990 5th St. S.W. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, 3251 Seminole Trail.
Donations to Charity and/or The National Kidney Foundation (kidney.org) is a nice way to honor Linda's Legacy.

Mother Evelena Michie

Mother Evelena Michie

A Life's Journey: A Legacy of Love, Strength and Faith

Mother Evelena Robinson Michie of Charlottesville, Virginia passed away on August 9, 2022. Born on August 23, 1935, in Darlington, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Marie Robinson.

Mother Michie spent her formative and young adult years in Hartsville, South Carolina before relocating to Brooklyn, New York.

Under the late Pastor Sally Steele, she received Jesus as her Lord and Savior, was baptized in Jesus' Name, and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. As her faith deepened, so did her service in the body of Christ. Mother Michie served faithfully in various ministries at Pentecostal Assembly under the leadership of Bishop S. E. Henderson.

In 1955, Mother Michie met the man who would become the love of her life, Robert J. Michie, II. They married on May 3, 1957. She and Bishop Michie, or "Bob" as she affectionately called him, were blessed with 65 years of marriage.

After many years of dedicated service to the Lord in New York, the Michie family moved to Charlottesville. Bishop Michie was called to begin a work in this community and founded Pentecostal True Holiness Church. Mother Michie was there by his side every step of the way with her love, support, and prayers for more than 54 years. During that time, she served in many areas of the church including the Usher Board, Women's Club, Pastor Aide Club president, choir president, Missionary Board president and Sunday School treasurer.

Mother Michie had an infectious hunger and desire after the things of God and His people. She presented the love of Jesus through her inspiring testimonies and life experiences. Through her personal ministry, she taught women and girls how to, as she'd often say, "be a lady and wait on God". As a First Lady, wife and mother, she understood the everyday challenges and trials women face in trying to balance ministry and family. Her life was a testament that, with God's help, it can be done.

The quintessential businesswoman, Mother Michie successfully operated multiple businesses at once for many years, including a home daycare service and a consultancy for both Avon and Tupperware. She was known throughout the community as the "Avon Lady" and the "Tupperware Lady".

A godly woman of great wisdom and compassion, she opened the Michie home to everyone and became a surrogate mother and "grandma" to many. She will be remembered for her love for people and her heart of gold. A family woman, she loved and enjoyed being with each and every one of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mother Michie was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Marie Robinson; one sister, Lila Mae Wingate-Agee; and four brothers, Leon, Jackie, James and Bishop Leroy Robinson.

She leaves beautiful memories of a life well-lived to be cherished by her husband, Bishop Robert J. Michie, II; four daughters, Louvenia Nowell, Theresa Michie, Salina Hedgepeth (Ricky), Gwendolyn Johnson-Harris (James); and two sons, Robert J. Michie, III (Donna) and Calvin Michie (Melvina); sister-in-law, Ethel M. Robinson; a special niece and nephew, Brenda Jones and John "Zach" Michie; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other close relatives and friends.

Walk-through viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022, at the J. F. Bell Funeral Home Chapel.
